I married the mastermind of scavenger hunts. I can remember back when we first started dating I was wow’d by his fun with simple things like scavenger hunts. He has continued to plan for things for me and the kids over the years. I guess the latest hunt was to find my iphone at Christmas….let’s just say that a clue was wrapped in a 54″ TV box. So when Doug does a scavenger hunt it is pretty indepth. The symbols he used to surprise our ‘clueless’ kids were things like a duck decoy to represent Donal Duck, M&M package for Mickey and Minney, picture of Pluto, Bryant’s new stuffed animal, mickey paint sample from Home Depot, orange for Florida, picture with safari animals we hope to see at Animal Kingdom, and a few more….here’s a slideshow of our hunt that ended with a surprise they will never forget. I have it on video but no time to get it converted now, packing is taking everything out of me…who knew?

Deacon is the precious new son of the Maners. You may remember him from the airport session a few short months back. He is walking and even was babbling at the water once he found it! I had the opportunity to do some workshops in Sprindale this week so Robyn and I met up athis park for some one year shots of Deacon, but who could resist twin big brother and sister. They adore him. So sweet. My favorite of the three of them is the group hug. I also caught Robyn with him right before we left. I love that candid moment.
