My oldest is quickly getting older and older and while I still have this precious time, I wanted to capture him just as he is today at age 10. I want to remember how he likes to sit when he reads and all the simple things that I know I will forget like his favorite book… for today, anyway. I really didn’t fall in love with reading until I became a mom…I guess my life finally slowed down with all the academic reading of college and motherhood suddenly became so overwhelming sometimes I needed an escape! That’s what books do for me. I really don’t read much non-fiction. Bennett on the other hand, reads it all. Right now he loves the 39 clues series, so if you don’t want to listen awhile I wouldn’t bring it up if I were you! He reads so much and so quick that we are often at the library or store looking up the newest release. I am so proud of him for many things, but most importantly that he is mine for now and I can brag on him being so smart. I LOVE THIS AGE, even the dorky silly stuff that makes him who he is developing to be. Here are some shots that I was inspired to shoot after our family outing to Books-a-million over the weekend.
