I have always loved February 14th. Whether I was a little girl and my mom and dad loved on me a little extra that day or a girl in love with my forever Valentine, this day is a bright spot in the dead of winter. I love to do some extra with the kids instead of more stuffed animals and candy. We went skating and had a great day. Here are their school Valentine’s for 2010. Thursday night my dog, Murphy, got really sick and the vet could nothing for him Friday morning…so this has been a pretty tough weekend for me. I don’t know how people loose a child tragically…..and survive it. Murphy was part of our family and he was such a good dog.

Oh, Leigh Ann…I’m so sorry to hear about your Murphy. I understand completely how a dog is like another child. Our Molly will always be our first baby.

I love my little Valentines but makes me so sad to see little Murphy. He was a good little dog and I can see him even now trying to get your dad to give him some attention. I love you and want to make your pain go away. Mom
